I actually really don't like the surface of the paper - it doesn't seem to work well with trying to blend pencils. I will be buying a new notebook with a bit more tooth that should work better with pencil. Have used the smaller Moleskine sketchbook and found it excellent. Looking forward to using the larger one. A quality bound product that I use for sketching ideas or drawing operation notes.
Would recommend to any artist as a multimedia sketchbook. Perfect size and amazing quality. I use this as a sketch journal with ink and even some watercolour and it holds up really well. Like the texture of the paper, holds very well against many layers of graphite.
A good book for sketching. A lovely little sketchbook, perfectly sized to carry everyday but also great quality and perfect for note-taking and quick little sketches.
