Why is twisted metal so hard

And yeah, the random sniper headshot is a pain, but hey, it's the highest difficulty in the game for a reason.

User Info: SickShotzToo. SOAD posted That sniper headshot is the latter. User Info: Waymire. I'll admit I find this game difficult but a challenge is good. I'm tired of blowing through most games without a challenge. User Info: cavebear So much harder I still have nightmares about that Mr.

Slamm and the constant stream of freezes he pumped out. If history is to change, let it change. If the world is to be destroyed, so be it. If my fate is to die, I must simply laugh. User Info: SgtStrungOut.

I will, however, say that the mech form of SweetTooth is really really noob friendly and stupid. They should not be able to fly away out of a firefight that they would normally have lost had this been another TM game or they were in another car.

Also they abuse that combined with freezing then sniping which is really cheap. Scrubs, but what can you do? I guess a patch could nerf it. Just relax nerd. Just because I am better than you at everything does not mean you should whine and cry User Info: mjc SickShotzToo posted The sniper thing is not though.

The AI literally cheats and only has to hold the sniper on you for a few seconds to get a headshot when it should take much longer. Half the time, you can't even see the laser beam from the sniper when they're aiming at you, so you don't even have a chance to block it with a shield. I'm constantly moving and I don't take on a bunch of enemies at once. I try to pick them off one by one. I don't have a garage in this particular mission, but it's been stupid up until this point any way. The Iron Maiden fight was BS with that cage.

That isn't fair. Right now I'm doing the two juggernauts with Dollface. I can kill one of the juggs within the first minute, but then I'm frantically running between the two health spawning points only to have jackass Axel steal one. I've been doing this mission for the past two hours.

It hasn't been fun for the past minutes. I do not like this at all. The health pickups take way too long to respawn, meanwhile the sole other juggernaut seems to be able to pump out enemies in about 12 seconds it seems. And they all have specials and they hit me at once, and won't get off my ass even if I super turbo dash away from them.

I'm seriously about to break the game in half. User Info: Jakelin The TM series, in general, is hard for people when they first start playing the game. Usually they are going about it the wrong way ie: getting clumped up with a few other cars, standing still to fire weapons, not selecting the appropriate weapon for the range of and type of opponent, struggling to use the weapons properly. Most of us feel your pain because we have been there before.

My advice would be to select a fairly large level to replay or else just set one up yourself. Then drive, drive, drive. Don't stop. Just keep moving around the map. Practice moving through your weapons as you are driving. If you find yourself next to more than one or two cars, turbo the hell out of there drop a mine behind you and get away. It IS possible to get alone in the game believe it or not.

If you see ONE opponent, ready a weapon and fire on him while still moving. Try to follow him. Get comfy selecting another weapon to use on him. Again, if you see people coming towards you, quick turn, turbo out of there and drop a mine on your way out. Instead of trying to kill everyone, focus on just staying alive and getting away. This gives you the time to really get a feel for the controls, the driving, and how to use the weapons on the move as well as how to get away. I promise you if you spend a little time doing this you will find the game becomes so much easier and also so much more fun.

TM is a different animal than most games. The intense combat and deep control system take some time to get used to, but it is time well spent. The series is a beloved one to a ton of people for a reason. I like the MP a lot. I like the death matches and team death matches and stuff.

At least I have that. If I don't do well at that I don't care as much It's not enjoyable and is just a chore, but it feels like something I absolutely have to do. I'm not even going to try for gold medals or any of that. More topics from this board New game in development.

I know I'm not good at the game but seriously this is way too hard for "normal".
