A player asks on the forums how to report someone under level 58 in Outlands, since there is a level restriction on the Dark Portal that means you have to be level 58 before you pass through it. Of course, other players respond correctly that it's not against the ToS to be in Outlands before level you are free to be summoned there whenever you want. Stratholme is the highest level dungeon you can run without going to Blackrock Mountain on the opposite continent. It's got everything a growing 'toon needs, including Argent Dawn rep, enchanting mats, and some badass endgame gear.
Lucky players can even get their hands on a Deathcharger mount. This is one of the toughest 5-man dungeons, with an open concept plan that leaves your party more vulnerable to accidental pulls and moving patrols.
That makes it great practice for endgame raids. Silithus is one of those zones that flies under the radar until you reach those last few levels. Druids and other toons that are connected with the Cenarion Circle faction might visit earlier, but most players don't find this zone until they wander in from Un'Goro Crater next door.
When the campaign begins to open the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj, this zone becomes essential to visit, even mandatory. Grind rep with the Cenarion Circle, defeat a few murder bugs, and gather the mountain of mats needed to start one of the most notorious events in Azerothian history. Horde players find this zone earlier than their Alliance counterparts because it's right next to the Forsaken starting area.
Lowbies often wander past the Bulwark and find out the hard way, after they aggro half the forest, that the mobs here start at level The Western Plaguelands is home to several significant factions, items, and locations. There's the Ruins of Lordaeron, where you and some friends can meet Chromie of the Bronze Dragonflight and battle the Lich Araj, all important things to do on your way to the endgame. By the time players reach level 55, Blackrock Mountain is already a familiar sight.
Before you venture into the raids, however, you need to prove yourself Upper Blackrock Spire. It requires only 10 players, unlike other Classic raids that require 20 or 40, and is where you can finish the attunement quest for Blackwing Lair.
This is the lower level of another dungeon and raid, Upper Blackrock Spire, but you take a right at the entrance instead of a left.
There are some valuable recipes here as well as the last step in a long quest chain that started at Zul Fur'rak and eventually leads to Zul'Gurub, a man raid. And even before the nerf, the highest you could get was Good luck with that. Post by chaosultimamage I loved Outlands and Old Azeroth. I really didn't care for Northrend and I absolutely hate new Azeroth for the most part. It looks great, but the leveling flow for me is destroyed.
Post by Murrdurr Destroyed? I dont know how you can argue that leveling in old Azeroth has a better flow than the new.
